Sureka Darshani

INTRODUCTION

Ms. Sureka Darshani is a highly experienced accounting educator with a strong academic foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Special) in Accounting, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, and has completed the Intermediate Level of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL). Her academic and professional qualifications enable her to deliver Accounting education with both academic depth and practical relevance.

With over 14 years of teaching experience in national schools and serving as a section head for the A/L commerce stream, Ms. Sureka has earned a reputation for excellence in instruction and leadership. Her approach to teaching emphasizes clear conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and application skills essential for success in both examinations and professional careers.

In addition to her extensive classroom experience, Ms. Sureka has contributed as a paper marker and an assistant examiner. She also brings private tutoring experience, supporting A/L commerce students to achieve their academic and career aspirations with confidence.
